Questions and Activities Included in the Revised Books of Islamic Education in the Preparatory Stage in Qatar / Wadha Ali Al-Sewidi
The objective of this research has been to analyze and classify the questions and activities included in the revised books of Islamic Education used in the preparatory stage in Qatar. through answering the following questions:
1- What are the cognitive levels measured by the questions of the revised books of Islamic Education in the preparatory stage?
2- What are the types of questions included in the revised books of Islamic Education in the preparatory stage?
3- Which types of activities are included in the revised books of Islamic Education in the preparatory stage, and which fields do they confirm?
4- To what extent are the questions and activities related to the objectives of the study units included in the revised books of Islamic Education in the preparatory stage'?
The researcher has thoroughly analyzed the content of the revised books of Islamic Education in the preparatory stage. Validity and reliability of the process of analysis have been ensured.
The study has reached these conclusions: The main focus of the questions of the books studied concentrates on the levels of comprehension. memorization and then application. The percentage of subjective questions is nearly the same as that of objective questions. The evaluation activities included in these books are, in all. about 130 ones in various and several fields. A number of suggestions and recommendations in the light of the results of the study are offered.
