Evaluative Study for the Kindergarten Program at the College of Education - King Saud University / Moneer M. Al-Otaibi
Increasing consideration of early childhood was universally based on social contention and scientific facts of the value of this critical stage regarding individual's age. There, in Saudi Arabia, on increasing feeding — at, both, formal and social levels — of necessity to develop kindergarten stage in order to become able of providing children with their psychological social, and physical properties and their needs as well, so as to match the scientific theories of this stage of age. The approval of the Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques has been issued to make the kindergarten stage an independent structural one, and to be separated from other educational stages. The Ministry of Education was directed to make a timetable for both , Program and plan, liable to gradual developments in kingdom of setting up children's kindergartens all around the country, benefiting of the private sector , private schools, in achieving this goal. Besides, originating educational curriculum for children's kindergarten to achieve the goals of this stage , Riyadh newspaper 17/3/1423h, . Such developments impose on Higher Education to have active participation of finding human resources that work at Early Education Schools especially of female teachers who are to be qualified in order to deal with the children at this age. The programs of training and preparation must go side by side of these ambitions and directions at the governmental Higher Education establishments and the private ones, as well. There should be personnel who work continuously assess and develop their programs. The evaluation of Early Childhood Education at King Saudi University will achieve these ambitions. This study has reached the best way to prepare female teachers, at King Saudi university, who are to be assigned at Schools. This study will provide all establishments of Kindergarten in Riyadh, KSA, of well-prepared teachers and specialized supervisors in this field of early childhood, It is hoped that this suggested program will qualify them to deal with this special stage with efficiency and ability.
