Measurement of Formal Thinking According to Piaget Theory of the New Students Who Enrolled at the College of Education in the First Semester of the Academic Year A.H. 1409/ 1410 and Its Relation With Some Variables / Abdullah A. Makoshi
The aim of this study was to measure the cognitive stage of the newly-admitted students in the College of Education, King Saud University in the first semester of the academic year 1989/1990. The most important result was that 73% of the students were at the concrete stage, 26% of the students were at a transitional stage. And 7% (one student) of the students was at the abstract stage. We need to take great caution in interpreting or generalizing the results of this study.
