Item Bias of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children Revised (Saudi Version) According to Respondents’ Sex / Abdullah A. Qataee
Investigation of test bias is becoming more important in recent years due to social pressure and ethical concerns about the soundness of selection. This study was intended to investigate the extent of sex bias in the items of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Revised WISC-R (Saudi Version). The records of the normative sample were evaluated. The results showed minimal sex bias in the items of the WlSC-R (Saudi Version). The implications of the results were discussed.
