The Views of School Principals toward the Training Program / Abdulrahman I. Al-Mahboob
The purpose of this study was to understand the opinions of the school principals, males and females, toward the training program at the College of Education, King Faisal University. The population of the study included all of the 77 participant principals enrolled in the program. The researcher designed a questionnaire for the purpose of collecting the data by using proper statistical procedures. The dimensions studied were: preparation, implementation and evaluation of the training program. The findings indicated that the principals' opinions toward those dimensions were positive although the perception of the male principals was more positive. Also. statistical analysis revealed significant correlations between the demographic variables and the study dimensions. The researcher suggested that the time of the training program should be expanded and that more emphasis should be put on the practical aspects.
