Low perseverance Reasons for the first level students at the Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) / Munawwar Adnan M. Najim
The study aims to identify the reasons of low perseverance of the first level students at the Islamic University of Gaza. The qualitative analytical method was used for collecting the data. A questionnaire was conducted in this study and was applied on (371) first level students at Islamic University of Gaza. The study results were as follows: the reasons of low perseverance were arranged in a descending order (university reasons, economic reasons, social reasons, political and security reasons, personal reasons, family reasons). Also, the results show that there were no statistically significant differences in all the dimensions of the reasons due to the variables; (sex - General Secondary School degree - University term rate - Specialization). In addition, the study shows that there were no statistically significant differences due to the variable of the mother's education , while there were significant differences in the economic, security and political reasons.
