Attitudes of Teachers in lrbid Governorate towards Educational Technology / Lutfi M. Elkhatib
The main purpose of this study was to investigate the attitudes of teachers in Irbid Governorate toward educational technology, and some variables that might relate to these attitudes The study sample consisted of 139 teachers , male and female, in government schools which belong to Irbid Governorate in the academic year 1998/1999. The researcher used a questionnaire comprised of 40 items. The results indicated that teachers in the sample have positive attitudes. in general, towards educational technology. Results also showed that teachers with a Bachelor's degree have more positive attitudes than the Diploma teachers. In other aspects, this study found that there was no significant relationship among variables of gender differences; specialization; years of experience in teaching, taking courses in educational technology; teaching stage and teachers' attitudes towards educational technology.
