Methods Followed in Teaching the Holy Quran in Secondary Holy Quran Recitation Schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: A Rectifying Field Study / Ibrahim Bin Saeed Al-Dossary
To be acquainted with the methods of teaching the Holy Quran. 2- To be acquainted with the methods in use as regards teaching this subject. 3- Finding out the best methods for teaching the Quran_ 4- Rectification methods that are currently used by the teachers of the Holy Quran. The method : Analytical description . Boundaries of the study : The study was limited to the methods used by the teachers of the Holy Quran recitation secondary schools in teaching the Quran to the second class during the academic year A.H. 1420 - 1421. The community and the sample : The community of the study is consisted of forty-two educational administrations, and then a random sample was selected , which included six educational administrations representing, the north , south, west, and east of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in connection to the teachers of Holy Quran. The tools and procedures of the study: This study depends on the tool of observation, according to a perfect and secure card which was tested on a number of classes, as there are no variances of statistical function among the individuals of the sample, and the researcher has attended the periods of lessons from the beginning to the end, and has recorded all the important remarks duly. Results: What was recorded in the observation card was discussed through its cognitive, performance behavioral and educational axes, and from its resorts it has achieved 50% and 10% of the sample ranging between weak and very weak in using the different active teaching methods, whereas 10% and 30% ranged between excellent and good_
