The purpose of this investigation was to examine the effect of regular physical education lessons on red blood cell , RBC, . hemoglobin Mb, . hcmatocrit Old, . mean corpuscular hemoglobin , MC10. and mean corpuscular Vol.ume , MCV, . Thirty-two elementary students at a mean age of 10.98 years were assigned to either experimental group or control group. The experimental group participated in two physical education lessons per week for ten weeks All subjects were pre- and post-tested Ibr RBC. ilk lid. MCI!. and MC V. Paired t-tcsi re% caled no significant statistical differences From pre to post participation in both groups 1-or all blood variables. Also. no significant differences were found between the hl 4. groups in all blood vleriablcs. These results suggest that regular physical education lessons had no significant effect on the selected blood N ariables.
