Validity, Reliability and Criteria for Testing Standard & Successive Matrices of Students of the Faculty of Arts, University of lmam Mahdi / Salah Eldin Farah Attallah
This study deals With the psychometric properties of the standard progressive matrices , 8PM, among the students ot'Arts college at Al.-lmam Al-mahadi university in the Sudan. The sample consisted of 393 students , 569% males; 53.1% females, .Results revealed that the scale has a good validation which is proved by: item analysis. internal consistency. factorial validity; the five groupsof the scale makes only one factor, and the test groups gradually became difficult. Chronbachfarmula , alpha coefficient, .and half spilt were usedto get the reliability for the five groups . both of them revealed that the scale is reliable. moreover temporal percentiles were derived. It isconcluded that the scale could be use at the mention society. the study recommended to use , SPM} in researches. educational and psychologicalassessment
