The Relationship of Mother’s Education, Age and Number of Children to Raising Children in Kuwaiti Society / Qasem Alsarraf

The aim of this study was to find out the effect of educational level, age. and number of children of Kuwaiti mothers on child-mother relationship. 300 working mother were selected randomly to represent the sample. and a questionnaire consisting of forty items was distributed. The following results were obtained:
1- As for the educational level. no significant differences were found in the area of early child-mother relationship. Significant differences were found only in the areas of toilet-training. playing with the child and mother‘s treatment ofthe child.
2- Regarding the age of mothers. no significant differences were found between the groups in the areas of early child mother relationship, toilet-training. playing with the child. and mother's treatment of the child.
3- Regarding the number of children in the family, also. no significant differences were obtained between the groups in the areas of early child-mother relationship. toilet-training, playing with the child. and mother's treatment of the child.
