The attitudes of lecturers at the University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza (BA - Diploma) towards the use of classical Arabic language at the university lectures / BASSAM H. A. MOHRA

Abstract
This study aimed at identifying attitudes of lecturers at the University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza towards the use of classical Arabic language at the university lectures, and showing whether the difference of the academic specialization and qualification have an impact on that. The study was conducted on a sample that included (33) academics from different departments and specializations. A specific measure of attitudes prepared by the researcher was applied. The researcher used the survey – descriptive approach. The results of the study showed that the lecturers attitudes have positive towards using classical Arabic in their lectures. Also, it showed that there are statistically differences in favor to the lecturers and the students with humanities specialization, as well as for those with long experience in the field of teaching. In addition, the study demonstrated that there are no statistically differences in the trends of lecturers with scientific qualifications. In conclusion, the study provided recommendations concentrating on the importance of teaching and university lecturing by using classical Arabic, the language of the Holly Quran
