Practicing of School Principals to Program Administration and School Activities of Gifted Students In The Eastern Province / Fathi Mohammed Abu-Nasser
The present study investigated the degree of school principals practicing programmers' and activities relating to gifted students. A randomly selected sample of the study consisted of (219) school principals who represented (67.6%) out of (324) school principals during the academic year 2010/2011. For the purpose of data collection, a four - domain questionnaire covering administrative roll of school principal was developed, Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient for all domains of the questionnaire was (0.88). To analyze data obtained، means, standard deviation and one-way analysis of variance were calculated. Findings of the study revealed that the degree of practice for all categories of study ranged (2.10-2.20) and correspond to high degree of practice, and that no statistically significant differences (α=0.05) existed in their responses due to study variables. Based upon the study findings theresearcher recommended that school principals be utilized as a major part of educational programs for preparation of school principals.
