Epistemological Perceptions of Learning and Teaching Physics Concepts amongst Physics Faculty Members at some Saudi and Jordanian Universities / Fahad Sulaiman Al Shaya,Suleiman Ahmad Alqadere
The purpose of this study was to examine the epistemological perceptions of learning and teaching physics concepts amongstphysics faculty members at some Saudi and Jordanian Universities, and to assess the differences in their epistemological perceptionsaccording to the country of the university. 'I'wo instruments were used, the first instrument was a questionnaire consisted of 20 itemsdeveloped by the authors, and the second instrument was a structured interview. The validity and reliability of the instruments were assured.A total of 46 faculty members , 27 faculty members from three Saudi universities and 19 faculty members from three Jordanian universities, participated in the study.
