A Proposed Program in the Internet Culture For Awareness Improvement of Certain Life in Intermediate and Secondary School Students / AbdulKarim Abdullah Al-Saif
This study attempts to propose a program in the internet culture for the awareness improvement of certain life-related issues such as religious, social issues, security, and moral of students, in middle and high schools in Saudi Arabia. The study used descriptive method and the experimental method, and prepared a measure of awareness of such issues as evidence of the research. In addition, the study chose the research sample randomly which consisted of (240) male and female students, were allocated to experimental groups and control groups. The results indicated that the proposed program is characterized by a high degree of effectiveness in the awareness improvement of certain life-related issues among the students in the experimental groups. Thus the efficiency in the program as a whole was 0.73,. The study found that the program was more effective in the experimental group than controlled group in middle school and it was more effective for the girls then for the boys in this level. However, the program had, high degree of effectiveness in awareness improvement of certain life-related issues for the students in the experimental group in high school. Similarly, the program was more effective for the girls more of then the boys at high school level. Thus, the girls stood on the scale as a whole 0.73 while at the boys 0.72. The study recommended the need to create the right environment for students use of the internet in middle and high schools, through preventive programs that seeks to prepare them to the right usage of the internet.
